My croquet journey started after months of prodding from my wife Mary to try the game. So on one Saturday morning in 2011,  I went out for the golf croquet lessons the NCC provides for the public and was amazed with the game, the facility and the people. It was such a great experience that I knew I wanted to continue with croquet and went home and went directly into my shop and built my first mallet. It did not take long for the word to spread that I not only  made mallets but could repair or modify mallets.
